Determining if a Carrier is a Good Match for a Lane

When searching for carriers in the Capacity page, you'll see a colored bar next to the Quality Score. This bar indicates the Best Match Score, which helps you quickly identify carriers that are a good fit for your specific freight needs.

The Best Match Score considers the following factors:

  • How long the carrier has had their authority.
  • How well the carrier's lanes match the lane you're searching for.
  • How recently the carrier's information has been updated in the system.

The color of the bar indicates the level of match:

  • Green: Very good match
  • Yellow: Moderate match
  • Red: Poor match

To see the exact Best Match Score for a carrier, simply hover your mouse over the colored bar. A tooltip will appear displaying the numerical score.

Using the Best Match Score

  • Prioritize Carriers: Focus on carriers with higher Best Match Scores.
  • Compare Options: Use the score to compare different carriers and identify the best fit.
  • Consider Other Factors: While the Best Match Score is a helpful tool, it's important to consider other factors, such as pricing, service levels, and specific needs.

By understanding the Best Match Score, you can quickly identify the best carriers for your freight needs and make more informed decisions.
