What is the Booking Assistant Feature and How do I Use It?

After your carriers are mapped in your account, you are able to send emails out regarding a lane with a rate included, called our Booking Assistant. It is important that your carriers are uploaded into your network to perform this automation.

Begin with inputting a lane you would like to source in the 'Capacity' section. See example below:

After running the search, our list of recommended carriers will populate. To send a mass email to your list of in-network carriers who matched for the lane, first select "Get Options".

A box will pop up asking for more information you would like to include about the load - including the rate you would like to offer:

A couple key things to note

1. In the lower left-hand corner, you will see how many carriers matched the lane you are sourcing that are within your network. These are the carriers who are going to receive an email about the load.

2. You can manage the carriers who are contacted from your network. Click the # of carriers matching from your network:

3. A box will open allowing you to exclude any number of carriers who will be contacted about the lane:

4. The "Offered Buy Now Price" is specified by the C4 user, and all recipients of the email will see the rate submitted. This is pulled directly from our Current Rate Data - but can be modified to whatever rate the user chooses.

5. The Booking Assistant works best with carriers you already have a relationship with. To leverage your network, we only reach out to those carriers.

6. As you talk to carriers about freight be sure to mark them as part of your network or procure them for a project. In the future, they will be included in automatic outreach.

Here is an example email the carriers will receive:

All in-network carriers can engage with this email by clicking on the hyperlink 'here to make an offer'. Any correspondence back from the carriers will go directly to the email address associated with the account.

The signature in the body of the email sent to carriers will reflect the user logged into the platform.

After sending carriers offers, you can manage the load in the Loads section:
