How to Use the Booking Assistant Feature

Once your carriers are mapped in your account, you can send emails with rates for specific lanes using our Booking Assistant.

To utilize this automation feature, ensure your carriers are uploaded to your network, or reach out to support to access out-of-network carrier automation.

 

1. Start by entering the lane you want to source in the 'Capacity' section. 

 

2. Once the search is complete, a list of recommended carriers will appear.

To send a mass email to in-network carriers matching the lane, select 'Get Options.'

 

NOTE: This feature is also available in the Projects section. Just select the Project you're working on, click 'Actions' and select 'Get Options'

 

3. A box will pop up asking for additional load details, including the desired rate.

 

The booking assistant works best with carriers you already have a relationship with. To leverage your network, we only reach out to those carriers, unless you have out-of-network outreach turned on.

 


A couple of key things to note:

1. The 'Offered Buy Now Price' is specified by the C4 user and is visible to all email recipients. This price is initially pulled from our Current Rate data but can be modified to whatever rate the user chooses. 

 

 

2. Here is a sample email the carriers will receive:

 

 

Any correspondence back from the carriers will go directly to the email address associated with the account. The signature in the body of the email sent to carriers will reflect the user logged into the platform. 


 

4. After sending carriers offers, you can manage the load in the Loads tab.
