Lane strength within RFP results allows you to view the number of in-network carriers plus the minimum and maximum rates paid to those carriers.
Accessing Lane Strength
To leverage this tool, you'll first run an RFP in your C4 account. New to C4 or the RFP tool? Click here for a guide on how to run an RFP.
Once your RFP results are sent to your inbox, you'll now be able to view the below fields added to your original spreadsheet:
- All in high C4 predicted rate
- All in C4 predicted rate
- All in low C4 predicted rate
- C4 confidence
- Per mile breakdown
- Lane distance (in miles)
- Carrier count: Number of carriers that are in your network that match the lane
- Maximum rate paid (for in-network carriers)
- Minimum rate paid (for in-network carriers)

- Enhance confidence when quoting customers by viewing your in-network carriers for any upcoming or expanding project lanes, ensuring you can offer the best options.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to revisit or adjust carrier rates: Leveraging pricing insights to reassess lanes or carrier partnerships can help you grow and improve margins.
- Review and develop a robust carrier base on lanes with low strength: Identifying lanes with a low carrier count reveals prime opportunities to build projects using C4's extensive carrier network.

Adding Greenscreens.ai Rates
For those that use Greenscreens.ai, you can now view Greenscreens.ai Target Buy information alongside your lane strength, allowing you even more insight in one place.
To access this feature as a Greenscreens.ai customer, navigate to the Settings menu in the top right corner of your screen. Go to the 'Automation Tools' section and select RFPs.
Here, you will see a checkbox to include Greenscreens rates within your RFP results, allowing you to toggle this on or off.
